Penelitian Kampung Siaga Bencana yang dilakukan di Kecamatan Munjul Kabupaten Pandeglang Provinsi Banten diperoleh beberapa informasi bahwa Kecamatan Munjul merupakan wilayah aliran sungai Ciliman yang bermuara di Pantai Labuhan. Sungai Ciliman ini merupakan sebuah sungai besar yang rutin meluap ketika terjadi curah hujan tinggi. Bulan Februari 2017 yang lalu, sungai Ciliman ini meluap dan terjadi banjir pada 7 (tujuh) kecamatan di Kabupaten Pandeglang, termasuk di Kecamatan Munjul. Antisipasi menghadapi masalah banjir yang kerap terjadi di lokasi penelitian ini, pemerintah daerah setempat melalui Dinas Sosial Provinsi Banten membentuk organisasi sosial yang siaga dengan kondisi tanggap darurat banjir dengan sebutan Kampung Siaga Bencan (KSB). Tujuan penelitian adalah ingin mengetahui penyandang masalah kesejahteraan sosial (PMKS) dan potensi sumber kesejahteraan sosial (PSKS). Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yakni mencoba memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai kondisi lokasi penelitian yang rawan terjadi bencana alam banjir terutama dimusim penghujan.Perolehan data lapangan yang dilakukan memberikan data dan informasi bahwa PMKS lanjut usia terlantar merupakan jumlah terbesar yang ada di Kabupaten Pandeglang, dan informasi ini menggambarkan bahwa cukup besar jumlahnya warga yang berusia diatas 60 tahun dan hidup dalam kekurangan. PMKS berikutnya yang jumlahnya cukup mencolok adalah penyandang Disabilitas dan Perempuan Rawan Sosial Ekonomi. Potensi dan Sumber Kesejahteraan Sosial (PSKS) di lokasi peneliti terlihat cukup variatif data nya. Pekerja sosil masyarakat sangat mendominasi keberadaannya, kemudian terdapat dua PSKS yang juga terlihat cukup potensial jumlahnya di wilayah kabupaten ini yaitu pendamping PKH dan operatornya.

Disaster Alert Village research conducted in Munjul Subdistrict, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province, obtained some information that Munjul Subdistrict is a Ciliman river basin which empties into Labuhan Beach. The Ciliman River is a large river which routinely overflows when there is high rainfall. Last February 2017, the Ciliman River overflowed and there were floods in 7 (seven) subdistricts in Pandeglang Regency, including in Munjul District. Anticipation of facing flooding problems that often occur at the location of this study, the local government through the Banten Provincial Social Service established a social organization that is alert to flood emergency response conditions as the Campaign for Disaster Preparedness (KSB). The aim of the study was to find out about people with social welfare problems (PMKS) and potential social welfare sources (PSKS). The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach which is trying to obtain a better understanding of the conditions of the research location which are prone to natural floods, especially in the rainy season. The acquisition of field data provided data and information that the neglected elderly PMKS is the largest number in Pandeglang District, and this information illustrates that a large number of people over the age of 60 and living in deprivation. The next number of PMKS which is quite striking are persons with disabilities and women who are socially and economically vulnerable. Potential and Sources of Social Welfare (PSKS) at the location of the researchers looked quite varied in data. Social workers are very dominant in their existence, then there are two PSKS who also look quite potential in the district, namely PKH facilitators and their operators.
