Keefektifan Konseling Rational Emotive Behavior untuk Mereduksi Perilaku Menyontek Siswa SMA = The Effectiveness of Rational Emotive Behavior Counseling to Reduce Senior High-School Student's Cheating Behavior



Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan konseling rational emotive behavior sebagai upaya mereduksi perilaku menyontek siswa SMA. Rancangan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Teknik analisis data dengan uji Wilcoxon mached-pairs signed, dengan hasil nilai Asymp.Sig (2-Tailed) 0.028 0.05 maka dapat disimpulkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai posttest dan nilai kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol, maka H ditolak dan H diterima yang artinya konseling rational emotive behavior efektif dalam mereduksi perilaku menyontek siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai dari bulan Januari sampai dengan Maret 2018, yang bertempat di SMA Unggulan Darul Hikmah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka peneliti mengajukan beberapa saran antara lain (1) guru BK, konseling rational emotive behavior dapat diterapkan guru BK untuk mereduksi perilaku menyontek siswa secara praktis dan mudah diterapkan; (2) bagi peneliti selanjutnya, penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pretest dan posttest control group design, untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat menggunakan desain penelitian lain seperti penelitian tindakan dalam BK, atau penelitian eksperimen lainya.

This study aims to apply rational emotive behavior counseling as an effort to reduce cheating behavior of high school students. The design of this study was conducted using a quasi experimental method approach with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design research design. Data analysis techniques using Wilcoxon mached-pairs signed test, with the Asymp.Sig (2-Tailed) 0.028 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the posttest value and the experimental group value with the control group, H is rejected and H is accepted which means that rational emotive behavior counseling is effective in reducing student cheating behavior. The study was carried out starting from January to March 2018, which took place at Darul Hikmah High School. Based on the results of the study, the researchers proposed several suggestions, among others (1) BK teachers, counseling rational emotive behavior can be applied by BK teachers to reduce student cheating behavior practically and can be easily applied; (2) for researchers furthermore, this research uses the pretest and posttest control group design research models, for the next researcher can use other research designs such as action research in BK, or other experimental research.
