Pengembangan Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) menggunakan Content Representation (CoRe) framework pada materi hukum dasar kimia dengan metode inkuiri
Abstrak
Penerapan kurikulum 2013 di SMA memerlukan kesiapan tenaga pendidik yang menguasai materi pembelajaran sekaligus kemampuan menyampaikannya dalam bentuk pembelajaran terpadu antara materi pelajaran dan keterampilan belajar. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, dalam penelitian ini dikaji pengembangan kemampuan PCK (Pedagogical Content Knowledge) calon guru menggunakan representasi isi (content representation, CoRe) pada materi hukum dasar kimia melalui pendekatan inkuiri menggunakan media LKS. Metodologi interpretative research dengan paradigma interpretivism, digunakan untuk menganalisis data-data yang diperoleh, yakni; wawancara dengan guru, lembar observasi guru, CoRe framework guru, jurnal reflektif siswa, jurnal reflektif calon guru dan rubrik PCK sebagai instrumen dalam mengukur perkembangan PCK calon guru. Analisis terhadap wawancara guru dan lembar observasi guru, calon guru memperoleh informasi mengenai metode pembelajaran, strategi pembelajaran, kesulitan mengajarkan suatu topik, dan memahami karakteristik siswa. Analisis terhadap CoRe framework guru membantu calon guru dalam menyusun CoRe framework calon guru. Analisis terhadap rubrik PCK calon guru memberikan informasi adanya peningkatan nilai yang semakin tinggi dari pertemuan pertama hingga ke-tiga dengan guru berpengalaman. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan keberhasilan penyusunan CoRe framework dalam meningkatkan PCK calon guru yang dipengaruhi oleh tingginya intensitas pertemuan dengan guru berpengalaman dan pengalaman mengajar di kelas. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan PCK calon guru akan semakin berkembang seiring dengan semakin banyaknya pengalaman mengajar.
Abstract
Application of 2013 curriculum in the high school requires the readiness of educators who master the learning material as well as the ability to deliver in the form of integrated learning between the subject matter and learning skills. To achieve this, this study examined the development of the ability of PCK (Pedagogical Content Knowledge) prospective teachers to use the content representation (content representation, cores) on the basis of legal materials chemistry approach using media LKS inquiry. Interpretative methodology interpretivism research paradigm, is used to analyze the data obtained, namely; interviews with teachers, teacher observation sheet, core framework teacher, student reflective journals, reflective journals prospective teachers and rubric PCK as an instrument for measuring the development of prospective teachers' PCK. An analysis of teacher interviews and observation sheets teachers, prospective teachers to obtain information on the teaching methods, learning strategies, difficulties teach a topic, and understand the characteristics of students. Analysis of the core framework to help teachers prepare prospective teachers in core framework prospective teachers. Analysis on PCK rubric teacher candidates provide information to an increase in the higher value of the first meeting to the third with an experienced teacher. These results demonstrate the successful preparation of the core framework to improve the PCK prospective teachers who are affected by the high intensity of a meeting with an experienced teacher and teaching experience in the classroom. Therefore it can be concluded PCK prospective teachers will be growing along with the number of teaching experience.
