Pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap penyesuaian diri pada pegawai dalam menghadapi masa pensiun
Abstract
This research aims to find out The Effects of Emotional Intelligence Toward Self Adjustment on Employees In Facing Retirement. Variable studied here was emotional intelligence as independent
variable (X) and self adjustment as dependent variable (Y). The method used in this study is a quantitative research. The sampling technique used is “non-probability sampling”. The type of nonprobability sampling used is purposive sampling, the sampling technique depends on the criteria used.
Number of samples in this research were 87 respondent. Data analysis techniques are used to test the
hypothesis is to test a simple regression using SPSS version 16.00. Based on calculations, the value of F
at 31,000 with a significance value of 0,00. Regression equation, Y= 30.691+0.554X and a large effect (R
Square) variables rest as much as 30,0%, the remaining 70,0% is influenced by other factors. Therefore,
Ho is rejected and Ha accepted so it can be concluded that there are significant effect of emotional
intelligence toward self adjustmenton employees in facing retirement.
