ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine whether there is influence between learning model and
emotionalintelligence towards mathematics learning outcomes from the student.
This study was conducted in State Elementary School 23 Sungaitarab Tanah Datar in
May 2015. The method used is the method of experimental research. The population in this
study is the fourth grade students. Samples numbered 32 students were taken by simple
random sampling. The instrument for data collection is mathematics achievement test and
the questionnaire of emotional intelligence.
The data analysis technique used is a two way ANOVA. The analysis showed that 1)
there is learning outcomes difference between students who study mathematics with
experiential learning model and students who study mathematics with direct learning model
with Fh=5577>Ft = 4.20 at significance level α = 0.05 with earning outcomes experiential
learning model != 76.25 and != 80.63 for earning outcomes direct learning model , 2) there
is interaction between the learning model and emotional intelligence towards mathematics
learning outcomes of students with Fh (l)=29.138>Ft =4.20 at significance level α = 0:05.
