Perbandingan roman Les Miserables Tome I (fantine) karya Victor Hugo dan film Les Miserables (fantine) karya Josee Dayan

Jakarta : Program Studi Bahasa Prancis, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengungkapkan perbandingan alur yang terdapat dalam karya cetak dan karya tayang Les Misérables (Fantine). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah roman Les Misérables Tome I (Fantine) dan film Les Misérables (Fantine). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah peneliti sendiri yang dibantu dengan tabel analisis. Tabel analisis penelitian ini berupa korpus peristiwa dalam roman serta visual gambar dan suara yang telah diberi koding alur penuh, alur tidak penuh, hilang dan tambahan. Langkah pertama yang dilakukan adalah menganalisis roman dan film menggunakan kolaborasi teori Todorov dan teori Roland Barthes. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh disandingkan dalam bentuk tabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap roman dan film Les Misérables (Fantine), didapatkan 70 sekuen pada karya cetak dan 42 sekuen serta 151 scene dalam karya tayangnya. Alur film yang mengacu pada romannya didapatkan alur penuh sebanyak 112 adegan, alur tidak penuh 16 adegan, alur ganda yang dalam satu scene film terdapat di beberapa sekuen pada roman berjumlah 6 adegan. Selain itu terdapat adegan tambahan sebanyak 10 adegan dan 7 adegan yang tidak terdapat di dalam roman Les Misérables Tome I (Fantine). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa alur roman dengan filmnya tidak selalu setara. Film hanya dijadikan sebagai pelengkap roman untuk memahami isi cerita secara utuh. Hal ini dikarenakan film mengemas isi cerita dalam bentuk audio visual sehingga lebih mudah dipahami dibandingkan dengan roman yang menuangkan cerita dalam bentuk tulisan sehingga masing- masing individu mempunyai imajinasi yang berbeda dalam memaknai cerita.

This study aims to reveal and groove comparison contained in the novel and the film Les Misérables (Fantine). This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data used are the novel Les Misérables Part I (Fantine) and the film Les Misérables (Fantine). The research instrument used is the researcher themselve who assisted with analysis tables. Table analysis of this research is a corpus of events in the novel as well as the visual image and sound for movies and has been given coding full plot, the incomplete plot, missing and additional plot. The first step is to analyze novel and film using collaboration Todorov theory and the theory of Roland Barthes. The acquired data in tabular form juxtaposed. Based on the research that has been conducted to the novel and the film Les Misérables (Fantine), the result shows that there are 70 sequences in the novel and 42 sequences as well as 151 slot scene in the film. Plot of the film refers to the full novel plot obtained a total of 112 scenes, there are 16 incomplete scenes plot, there are 6 scenes double plot in one scene in the film that are some sequences in the novel. In addition there are as many as 10 additional scenes 7 scenes and scenes that are not present in the novel Les Misérables Part I (Fantine). It can be concluded that the plot of the novel and the plot of the film is not always equal. Film only be used as a complementary of the novel to understand the story as a whole. This is because the film forming the content of the story in audio-visual to making it easier to understand comparing with the novel content which is the writing documents, so that each individual has a different imagination to interpret the story.
