Pengaruh efektivitas komunikasi dan kepercayaan terhadap komitmen organisasi guru-guru Sekolah Dasar Swasta : studi kasus di Kecamatan Pondok Aren, Tangerang Selatan
ABSTRACT
The objective of the research is to obtain information about the effect of principal’s communication effectiveness and trust on teachers’ organizational commitment. It was a quantitative research with path analysis method conducted in Pondok Aren district, Tangerang Selatan in 2013.
This study used survey method with path analysis technique (Path Analysis). The data collection process is done by using a questionnaire as a research instrument. In this study, teachers of 5 private schools In Pondok Aren district selected as the unit of analysis with a sample size of 134 people is determined by simple random techniques (simple random sampling).
The data analysis and interpretation indicates that (1) there is a direct effect of principal’s communication effectiveness on teachers’ organizational commitment; (2) there is a direct effect of trust on teachers’ organizational commitment;. (3) there is a direct effect of principal’s communication effectiveness on teachers’ trust to the principals. The findings lead to the recommendation for schools owner to provide a training in communication skills for principals to increase their communication effectiveness and facilitate various media communication using modern telecommunication technology.
