Peningkatan pemahaman konsep perkalian berbantuan kalkulator pada mata pelajaran matematika di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar negeri 2 Cirebon : penelitian tindakan kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar Negeri, Cirebon
This study aims to improve the understanding of the concept of multiplication of students with assisted calculator on the subjects of mathematics in class IV-B West Elementary School Palimanan Barat, Cirebon. This research is a action research by using McTaggart Kemmis Action Research Model. This study was conducted in 2 cycles with each cycle consisting of 3 meetings. Each cycle is done planning, action, observation and reflection. This study was conducted in the academic year 2016/2017. The instrument used to collect data is done by observation, test, interview, and documentation. The analysis of action monitoring data is performed after the data collected will be through data completeness checking, data collection, and analyzing descriptive technique data with percentage. The results showed that learning mathematics with assisted calculator can improve understanding of multiplication concept. It can be shown from the observed activity and the positive response of the students of the research subjects as well as the students as a whole towards the learning of mathematics with the assisted calculator. And with the increasing score of understanding the concept of multiplication on the subject of research in each indicator and the value of the final test cycle of all students in grade IV-B. Increasing the value in cycle I the number of students who can achieve success indicator is only 42.31% of students, and increased in cycle II to 88.46% of students.
