Upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar shooting bola basket melalui modifikasi bola pada siswa SMA kelas X SMA Negeri 18 Jakarta Utara
This research is based on the results of the author's observation in the field, about shooting basketball. To that end, this study aims to improve the learning outcomes of shooting basketball by using the modification of the ball on the students of SMA Negeri 18 Jakarta. It is expected that students can master the concept of shooting movement with the use of ball modifications. This research was conducted at SMA 18 Jakarta. The method used is the method of action research (Action Research) with qualitative and quantitative data collection is class 10 with the number of students by 30 students, which consisted of 12 male students and 18 female students. This study involves the Master of Physical Education, the research conducted as many as II cycles, each cycle consists of two meetings. Activity cycle I realized through learning using a modified ball gives the following results: 1) the student does not understand the concept of shooting in a basketball game, for example, students still perform motion shooting not to straighten the arm completely, 2) students do not understand the techniques and ways of shooting Which is true in basketball games, 3) the students are not confident at the time of shooting basketball movement. Activities of the second cycle is realized through learning using a modified ball gives the following results: 1) students begin to understand the basic concepts of shooting in the game of basketball, this understanding can be seen from the way students perform and study the movement of shooting well, 2) students can perform stages Basketball shooting stages well, 3) motivation and self-confidence of students increased during basketball shooting movement. The result of this research is the process of effort to improve the learning result of basketball shooting using ball modification, the improvement happened in every learning that started with the initial observation, cycle I and ended in cycle II. There is an increase in the psychomotor aspect, the students have understood the concept of basketball shooting motion. In the cognitive aspect, students'understanding increases along with the process of following the lesson, seen from the spirit and enthusiasm of students follow the learning, students' self confidence in interacting with students and teachers
