Pengetahuan konseling kelompok guru bimbingan dan konseling S1 nom BK di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Jakarta Timur
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan konseling kelompok guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) yang berlatar belakang S1 Non BK di SMP Negeri Jakarta Timur. Sampel penelitian menggunakan seluruh populasi guru BK berlatar belakang S1 Non BK yang berjumlah 95 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh atau sensus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey yang bersifat deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes yang terdiri dari 52 butir soal dalam bentuk pilihan ganda berdasarkan sub-kompetensi pengetahuan konseling kelompok yang dikemukakan Association for Specialist in Group Work (2000). Hasil uji validitas dikonsultasikan dengan r tabel sebesar 0,361 dan uji reliabilitas diperoleh hasil 0,915 yang artinya instrumen penelitian sangat reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pengetahuan guru BK berlatar belakang pendidikan S1 Non BK di SMP Negeri Jakarta Timur berada pada kategori rendah. Guru BK diharapkan memiliki pengetahuan yang baik mengenai konseling kelompok guna meningkatkan pelaksanaan konseling kelompok secara optimal di SMP Negeri Jakarta Timur.
This research aimed to describe group counseling knowledge of school counselors working in junior high school in Jakarta Timur. All school counselors participated in this research had graduated from undergraduate major programme other than special educatoin for school counselor. This research was conducted using survey method to 95 school counselors teaching in East Jakarta, which represented the population of school counselors that never took school counselor education undergraduate programme. Saturation sampling was used because of the small numbers of participants and to satisfy the suitable number to conduct a survey. Data was derived by administrating multiple choices performance test about group counseling consisted of 52 questions based on group counseling knowledge subcompetence according to Association for Specialist Group Work (ASGW). The validity test (0,361) and reliability test (0,915) showed good validity and reliability of the test. The result of this study showed that most participants in this study scored low on test measuring knowledge about group counseling. This result could be a suggestion to improve school counselors knowledge because school counselors should have good knowledge in order to lead group counseling.
