Peran kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan kompetensi kepribadian guru di SMP Putra 1 Jakarta
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Putra 1 Jakarta yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui informasi dan mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan kompetensi kepribadian guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan bulan Oktober 2017 hingga Januari 2018 menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Tahap analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. pemeriksaan dan pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan melalui tahapan kredibilitas data, transferabilitas, dependabilitas dan konfirmabilitas. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah sebagai leader dalam mengembangkan kompetensi kepribadian guru di SMP Putra 1 Jakarta, kepala sekolah menjadikan dirinya sebagai Role Model bagi para gurunya, mengetahui karakter terhadap tenaga pendidiknya, selalu berpedoman pada visi misi dalam meningkatkan integritas sekolah dan selalu demokratis dalam segala hal. Peran kepala sekolah sebagai educator, upaya kepala sekolah yaitu membimbing akhlak guru melalui ceramah, menasihati perilaku guru, membimbing perilaku para guru dalam menghadapi peserta didik, memberikan reward dan punishment. Peran kepala sekolah sebagai inovator, upaya kepala sekolah yaitu membuat program memblokir situs yang tidak memiliki hubungan dengan pendidikan, program Tadarus Al-Qur’an, membimbing perilaku guru dengan Program Literasi, memberikan jadwal program Shalat Jumat berjamaah. This research was conducted at Integrated Secondary School of Putra 1 Jakarta which aims to know information and describe the role of principal in developing teacher personality competence. This research was conducted from October 2017 to January 2018 using qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation studies. Phase data analysis is done through data reduction stage, data display and data verification. checking and checking the validity of data is done through the stages of data credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the role of school principal as a leader in developing teacher personality competence at SMP Putra 1 Jakarta, the principal makes himself as Role Model for his teachers, to know the character of his educator, always based on mission vision in improving school integrity and always democratic in everything. The role of the principal as an educator, the principal's effort is to guide the morality of the teacher through lectures, advising the teacher's behavior, guiding the teacher's behavior in dealing with the learners, providing rewards and punishment. The role of the principal as an innovator, the principal's effort is to create a program blocking sites that have no relationship with education, Tadarus Al-Qur'an program, guiding teacher behavior with Literacy Program, giving the schedule of Friday Prayer program in congregation.
