Hubungan kecepatan reaksi dan kelentukan dengan kemampuan memanjat kategori speed record pada Klub Panjat Tebing Universitas Negeri jakarta
The purpose of this research is to know 1) Connection Speed Reaction (X1) with Speed Record (Y) Category, 2 Connection Elasticity (X2) with Speed Ability Categories Speed Record (Y), 3) Connection Speed Reaction (X1) and Elasticity (X2) Against Speed Record Category Capabilities (Y).
The data collection time is held on 15-16 November 2017 which is held at the Faculty of Sport of State Jakarta University and the Faculty of Economics of Pancasila University. The data were collected using descriptive method with correlation study technique and research population of Climbing Club Member of State University of Jakarta consisting of 42 people. The sample of research is 30 people with purposive sampling data collection technique with some consideration the reaction speed. Test instrument uses the Whole Body Reaction Tester. For tests of vulnerability using Sit and Reach Flexibility Test. And to test the ability to climb the speed record category according to the competition guidance issued by FPTI, statistical analysis technique used is simple correlation and double correlation technique and continued with t test at significance level α = 0,05.
The result of data analysis shows that (1) there is a significant relationship between reaction speed (X1) with the ability to climb the speed record category (Y) shown by the correlation coefficient rX1Y = 0.683 and the coefficient of determination = 0.466 which means the contribution amount is 46.6%. (2) there is a significant connection between elasticity (X2) the formation with the ability to climb the speed record (Y) category shown by the correlation coefficient rX2Y = 0.663 and the coefficient of determination = 0.440 which means the contribution amount is 44.0%. (3) there is a significant relationship between reaction speed (X1) and elasticity (X2) with the ability of climbing speed record category (Y) with correlation coefficient rX1X2Y = 0,764 and coefficient of determination = 0,584 meaning its contribution amount is 58,4%.
