Study at Senior High School). Family Welfare Education. Faculty of Engineering.

This study aims to analyze the learning outcomes of students who have problems
in the absence list at school. This research was conducted in January 2023 at a
private high school in East Jakarta. Research conducted using quantitative
methods with a descriptive approach. The population in this study was 157
students with a sample that met the criteria of 61 students. The sampling
technique used in this study used purposive sampling, namely a sampling
technique by determining certain criteria (Sugiyono, 2008). The results of this
study can be concluded that the presence of students at school is very important
because the presence of students at school is included in the assessment of
students and the assessment of the orderliness of a school, the assessment of
learning outcomes can be assessed from several aspects, namely daily assessment,
end of semester assessment, extracurricular activities, and also presence. Judging
from the results of the average report cards of students whose absence from
school is more than 5, none of them are under the minimum completeness criteria
(KKM), because students who are absent are given other assignments and also
study material independently. Students who were absent without this explanation
actually had reasons, namely helping their parents to work, visiting mothers who
worked in Bogor, waiting for mothers who were sick, no fees, inviting friends, and
moving house. But even though it is seen from the results of the average report
card scores of students who have problems with their many absences, students are
still required to attend school.
