ABSTRACT
The aim of the research is to find out the effects of scientific attitudes, numerical ability, and generic science skills toward student’s chemistry achievement. The research method was a survey to 200 sample at the state high school in Kabupaten Lampung Timur by simple random sampling technique. The research data obtained and analyzed by using path analysis. The research thus concluded that: 1) the scientific attitudes, numerical ability, and generic science skills have a direct positive effect toward student’s chemistry achievement, 2) the scientific attitudes and numerical ability have a direct positive effect toward the generic science skills, and 3) the scientific attitudes has a direct positive effect toward the numerical ability. Implication of the study are teachers and students should create learning environment that is able to build scientific attitudes and numerical ability to enhance generic science skills and chemistry achievement.
