THE RELATIONSHIP OF PERCEPTION OF PARENTING CHILDREN PARENTS AND
SOCIAL LISTENING FABLED INTERES WITH EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

The objective research is to obtain information concerning to the relationship of perception
of parenting children parents and listening fabled interest with emotional intelligence. The
research was conducted by using survey method with correlational analysis in testing
hypothesis. In this research, 46 from 90 student’s simple random sampling. The research
was focused on tree aspect; perception of parenting children parents and listening fabled
with interest to civic education. The data were collected with questionnaire and analyzed
with correlational analysis. Result on the analysis it is concluded that (1) There is a
positive relationship between children's perception of the parents' parenting (X1) and the
child's emotional intelligence (Y) which is indicated by the correlation coefficient of 0.612,
(2) There is a positive relationship between the listening fabled interest to children's
emotional intelligence. This is attested by the value of the correlation coefficient (ry2) =
0.58, (3) There is a positive relationship between children's perception of the parents'
parenting and listening fabled interest together with the child's emotional intelligence. This
is the show with the correlation coefficient (ry 1.2) = 0.71.
