Hubungan keterampilan manajerial dan pelatihan dengan kinerja pada guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri di Kecamatan Tebet Jakarta Selatan
The general objective of this research is to investigate the quality of the questions in tests made by Bahasa Indonesia teachers of three Junior High Schools in Limo subdistrict, Depok. The main objective of this research is to gain empirical data on causes that make the questions made by the teachers are invalid. The researcher uses mixed methods. In order to investigate the quality of the questions, researcher does test validity and reliability on the questions (quantitative). Next, in order to investigate the causes that make the questions made by the teachers are invalid, the researcher studies the questions based on Grunlond theory (qualitative). The researcher conducts research in three schools, SMP Almanar, SMP Utama, and SMP Lazuardi. The sumative test on Bahasa Indonesia in even semester for grade 7 and 8 of SMP Almanar consists of 40 questions, SMP Utama has 50 questions for grade 7 and 40 numbers for grade 8, and SMP Lazuardi has 25 questions. Therefore, the total number of the questions investigated is 220 questions. From 220 questions, only 82 questions (37 %) which are valid, 138 questions (63 %) are considered as invalid, 145 questions (66 %) are reliable, and 75 questions(34 %) are unreliable. 60 Essay questions only 24 (40 %) are valid, 36 (60 %) are invalid, 20 (33 %) aure reliabel, and 40 questions (67 %) are unreliable. Conclusion, all of the 220 questions and 60 essay questions are not quality enough. Based on the investigation on the questions, out of 220 questions on Bahasa Indonesia, there are 114 mistakes on the questions; 2 questions do not have clear obective, 2 questions whose negative statements do not have any particular stress (written in bold type), 5 questions with ungrammatical structure; 12 questions whose option on answers is not homogeneous; 1 question whose distraction is too hard for underachieving student to understand; 50 questions whose verbal answer choices is not in alphabetical order; and 2 questions whose number on answer choices is not arranged numerically.
