EQUIVALENCY OF THE NATIONAL EXAMINATION (UN) YEAR 2010/2011 EXAM PACKAGE 12, 25, 39, 46 AND 54 SUBJECTS SOCIOLOGY(In terms of Index Difficulty of Item and Index Discrimination of Item in High School Social Studies Department of the DKI Jakarta Province)
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to find out the quality of items the National Examination in 2011 Sociology subjects, analyze the differences in exam package 12, 25, 39, 46 and 54 in terms of index difficulty of item and index discrimination of item.The research was conducted in Jakarta with a sample of participants is 3.000. The sample of unit is 5o items each exam packet. The research is the study of causal comparative (ex post facto) with descriptive quantitative used one way analysis of variance. It was a statistically parametric with SPSS program that begins with a test of normality and homogeneity test. In general, the results of this study indicate that there is no difference index difficulty of item and index discrimination of item between 5 package that question. Hypothesis was tested shows that H0 is accepted and H1 rejected. The average index discrimination of item for all five questions in sequence packet 0,3288; 0,3412; 0,3618; 0,3404; 0,3354 and the average index difficulty of item in sequence that is 0,7592; 0,7164; 0,7402; 0,7490 and 0,7262. Analysis shows that the range of items about index discrimination of item ranged from 0,20 to 0,70 means that the matter is having distinguishing good enough. While an analysis of the index difficulty of item ranged from 0,31 to 0,70 means that the question has a difficulty of item that is not too difficult and not too easy.
