Pengaruh strategi pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar sejarah siswa di SMA Negeri 93 Jakarta

ABSTRACT

Putri Amalia. Effect of Problem Based Learning Learning Strategies Against
History Learning Outcomes Students at SMA Negeri 93 Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta:
Education Prodi History, Department of History, Faculty of Social Sciences, State
University of Jakarta, in 2015.
The aim of this study was to obtain empirical data on the effect of learning
strategies Problem Based Learning on learning outcomes history. This research
was conducted in SMA Negeri 93 Jakarta from August to October 2015. The
research approach used is a quantitative approach with the experimental method.
The target population in this study is a whole class of SMAN 93 Jakarta which
consists of 21 classes with a number of 756 students, while the population is
affordable is a class XI IPS SMA Negeri 93 Jakarta which consists of three
classes with the number of 108 students. The sampling technique using Random
Sampling. Samples were taken amounting to two classes of class XI IPS 2 as an
experimental class and class XI IPS 1 as a control with each class numbered 36
students.
The results of the test instrument by using Spearman Brown formula
produces 40 of the 60 valid questions about, and obtained reliability value of
(0.949) which means that the instrument can be used. Test requirements
analysis is done through tests of normality and homogeneity test. Testing for
normality using Liliefors test the experimental class acquired (0,135) <
(0,148), the normal distribution of data distribution and the control class acquired
(0,139) < (0,148), the normal distribution of data distribution. Homogeneity
test using the test Barlett and acquired (0,934) < (3,84), H0 : μ1 ≥ μ2 or
homogeneous acceptable variance.
Hypothesis testing using t test formula produces tcount (31,95) > ttable (2,00)
at the level of 95% (α = 0.05), the H0 and H1 accepted. It can be concluded that
there are significant learning strategy use of Problem Based Learning on learning
outcomes of history students at SMA Negeri 93 Jakarta.
