Abstract: This study aimed to describe the process of memorizing the Quran in group B RA Teladan Imam Syafi’i, the background of this research is the activity of memorizing one juz Quran on children in group B is a coercive or not. The research model used is Milles and Hubberman with study subjects children aged 5-6 years in group B RA Teladan Imam Syafi’i Tanjung, North Lombok. This research was conducted on the month in March 2016 to May 2016. Data collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this research is the analysis of qualitative data. Qualitative data analysis is used to explain the study results. The results showed that the process of implementation of memorizing the Quran in RA Teladan Imam Syafi’i carried out routinely and continuously and from 07.30 children lined up in the courtyard to recite an Islamic poem, 08:15 hours and taught children carry muroja'ah to recite verses of the Qur'an then enter the core activity and learning how to read, write and count to two children learning to teach hadith and Arabic. The learning method used method of habituation to assessment techniques of observation and conversation. The teacher's role is as a facilitator, motivator and evaluator while for the role of parents of children who have a higher rote in foster care with authoritative parenting and child using low hafalannya parenting patient types. Motivation of students in memorizing still good enough visible from almost all children can memorize the Quran and only two children who can not.
