Pengaruh kecerdasan emosi, Kecemasan, dan kekuatan otot lengan terhadap kemampuan servis tennis

ABSTRACT
This is research is intended to achieve a drawing of the effectiveness of emotional intelligence, anxiety, and strength of the arm muscle on the service ability in tennis games. This research was conducted by path analysis design. 56 students of PKR FIK Unimed are involved as the sample which is taken simple randomly. The technique of data analysis is path analysis on the significance level α=0,05. The top requirement before applying path analysis where the data should be analyxed first by using normality and linearity test. The research findings of this study reveal out that nine of research hypotheses are accepted. All of the hypotheses are (H1) there was an effect of emotional intelligence on strength of the arm muscle; (H2) there was an effect of anxiety on strength of the arm muscle; (H3) there was an effect of emotional intelligence and anxiety on strength of the arm muscle; (H4) there was an effect of emotional intelligence on the service ability; (H5) there was an effect of anxiety on the service ability; (H6) there was an effect of strength of the arm muscle on the service ability; (H7) there was an effect of emotional intelligence, anxiety and strength of the arm muscle on the service ability; (H8) there was an effect of emotional intelligence on the service ability by strength of the arm muscle; (H9) there was an effect of anxiety on the service ability by strength of the arm muscle; Finally, it is concluded that the service ability in tennis and strength of the arm muscle can be repaired by imporving emotional intelligence and anxiety.
