Abstrak
This study is aimed at identifying the extent of correlation between muscular strength of arm, equilibrium and self-confidence and tennis-service skill. This study is targeted to male tennis athletes of UTC Pinang Masak Kota Jambi totaling 15 persons. Data collection is performed by means of instrument test of service skill, Push Dynamometer for instrument test of muscular strength of arm, the test of equilibrium test apply the standing balance test and questionnaire for self-confidence. This study apply the correlational method. Result of the study reveal that there is a very significant correlation between muscular strength of arm and tennis-service skill with ry1=0.80 in the value of 65%, it is obtained tcount 4.93>ttable 1.77, there is a very significant correlation between equilibrium and tennis-service skill with ry2=0.791 in the value of 63%. It is obtained tcount 4.67 >ttable 1.77, there is a very significant correlation betweenself-confidence and tennis-service skill ry3=0,80 in the value of 65%. It is obtained tcount 4.88 >ttable 1.77, there is a very significant correlation betweenmuscular strength of arm, equilibrium and self-confidence rx123y=0,82 in the value 82%.
