ABSTRACT
THE EFFECT OF TRAINING METHOD AND MOTIVATION ACHIEVEMENT TO
THE ABILITY OF THE BASIC TECHNIQUES OF DRIBBLING HOCKEY
ABDUL HARIS

The objective research is to obtain information concerning to the effect of training
method and motivation achievement to the ability of the basic techniques of
dribbling hockey. The research was conducted by using experiment method with
design by level 2x2 analysis in testing hypothesis. In this research, 32 from 60
student’s cluster random sampling. The research was focused on tree aspect;
training method and motivation achievement to the ability of the basic techniques of
hockey students. The data were colected with questionnaire and analyzed with
tuckey analysis. Result on the analyisis it is concluded that (1) the ability of the basic
techniques of hockey students are given the tactical training method is higher than
students who were given drill training method, (4) there is an interaction between
training method and motivation achievement to the basic techniques of hockey
students, (3) the ability of the basic techniques of hockey students in the group of
students who have motivation achievement high given tactical training methodis
greater rather than a group of students were given drill training method, (4) the ability
of the basic techniques of hockey students in the group of students who have
motivation achievement low given about drill training method is larger than the group
of students were given about the tactical training method,.
