Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge of the use of a climbing wall with an interest in high school extracurricular follow Tugu Ibu Depok. Research was conducted on June 4 to July 10 2016 housed in SMA Tugu Ibu Depok is located at Jl. Sentosa Raya No. 2 Depok, West Java.
The method used in this research is correlational study is to determine the relationship of knowledge use climbing tool to follow eskul interest nature lovers IN SMA Tugu Ibu Depok. The population in this study are all students SMA Tugu Ibu Depok who follow extracurricular nature lovers. 40 people while the sampling technique used in this study is total sampling. Data collection techniques used in this research questionnaire, questionnaire collection and processing of data. Data analysis techniques used in this research is the analysis of Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. The results showed that there is a relationship of knowledge use of rock climbing with interest following the eskul can be seen from the analysis of correlation values obtained (r) of 0436, this means the relation of knowledge use of rock climbing with interest following the eskul in SMA Tugu Ibu Depok strong enough and positive. Values strong enough correlation shows that when knowledge of the use of rock climbing rose (the better) then follow eskul interest in SMA Tugu Ibu Depok also increased. Conversely, if knowledge of the use of a little rock climbing or less (bad) then follow eskul interest will decrease. was conducted on June 4, 2016 2016 -10Juni housed in SMA Tugu Ibu Depok is located at Jl. Sentosa Raya No. 2 Depok, West Java.
