The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of motor
skills against the shooting handball , determine the relationship of motivation
on the shooting handball , as well as knowing jointly between motor skills and
motivation to the shooting handball in class X SMK BINAKARYA MANDIRI
Bekasi.
The research was conducted in 30 June 2016 at Binakarya Mandiri
Bekasi, using the survey method is a technique to measure the correlation
with motor skills, motivation of students with a questionnaire and taking a test
shooting with a hand ball seet shoot technique (standing quietly in place)
using only one hand. The third data is collected then correlated using simple
and multiple correlation techniques. The population in this study class X SMK
Kota Bekasi Binakarya Mandiri numbered 960 students and for the research
sample by random sampling (census) as many as 30 people. Statistical
methods in analyzing research data using a simple correlation and multiple
correlation tested with tables r, whereas research instruments consisted of
the test motor skills by using Barrow Motor Ability Test, the motivation to use
the test motivation through a questionnaire, and the results of shooting
handball through a test shooting with seet shoot technique (standing quietly in
place) using one hand as seen from the element of movement is right or
wrong in doing the test.
Research hypothesis testing using a test with significance level α r =
0.05 and n = 30 obtained r table = 0.361
Based on the analysis in this study , the correlation coefficient ( rx1y
) = 0.694 with t of 5.09 and 2.05 ttable . for t > t table then there is a positive
relationship between motor skills motor to the shooting handball . As for the
relationship between motivation against the shooting handball correlation
coefficient ( rx2y ) = 0.620 with t count equal to 4.18 and t table is 2.05 . for t
> t table then there is a positive relationship between motivation to the
shooting handball . For the relationship between the two variables together
obtained a correlation coefficient ( rx1-2y ) = 0.785 by F count equal to 21.606
and F table 4,20.Karena F count> F table then there is a positive relationship
motor skills and motivation to the shooting ball hand.
Coefficient determination to r2x1y at 48.1 % , while 51.9 % is a
variation of other factors related to the shooting handball, the coefficient of
determination for r2x2y 38.4 % , while 61.6 % is a variety of other factors
associated with shooting a handball , coefficient of determination r2x1-2y of 61.5 % , while 38.5 % is a variation of other factors related to shooting
handball . Based on analysis of these data , the results of this study can be
concluded , there is a positive relationship motor skills against the shooting
handball , there is a positive relationship of motivation on the shooting
handball , and the positive relationship jointly between motor skills and
motivation to the shooting handball in class X SMK Binakarya Mandiri Bekasi.
