Kesalahan penggunaan isim Musytaq dalam karangan terpimpin pada mahasiswa prodi pendidikan bahasa Arab Universitas Negeri Jakarta

This study aimed to examine kinds or forms of the errors in using Isim Musytaq and its
causes.
This study was conducted from March until April 2016 in Arabic Study Program, Universitas
Negeri Jakarta. The data were gathered from test as much 50 questions which were divided
into : 1. 40 questions in multiple choices, 2. 10 questions of changing fi’il or verbs became
Isim Musytaq. 26 students were chosen randomly, based on those who had already taken
Shorf II course, were the sample of this study. Descriptive study with content analysis was
used as the method of this study. The data collection techiques were as follows : 1. Finding
errors made by the students, 2. Diagnosing the forms of errors, 3. Grouping the mistakes, 4.
Calculating the percentage or the errors’ frequency, 5. Describing the forms of errors, 6.
Clarifying errors with Interpretation criterion which were rarely errors 1-25%, average errors
26-75%, common errors 76-100%, 7. Explaining the cause factors of errors.
Based on the analysis of the errors from 1300 answers, the results showed that there were 544
errors made by the students. It was found that the errors were the average errors which were
as follows : 1. The errors in using Isim Fa’il 34%, 2. The errors in using Shiyaghul
Mubalaghoh 51.2%, 3. The errors in using Isim Maf’ul 48.7%, 4. The errors in using Shifat
Musyabbahah 49.4%, The errors in using Isim Tafdhil 30.1%, 6. The errors in using Isim
Zaman 38.4%, 7. The errors in using Isim Makan 42.3%, 8. The errors in using Isim Alat
32.7%. The highest number of errors was in Shiyagul Mubalaghoh while the lowest number
of errors was in Isim Tafdhil.
The causes of the errors were : 1. Four cases of Unknowing the limitation of rules, 2. Four
cases of the implementation of less rules.
The result of this study revealed that students have not been capable yet in using the right
Shighot Mubalaghoh . Besides, the researcher concluded that the using of Shighot
Mubalaghoh was more difficult for the students since the students had difficulties in distinguishing Shighot Mubalaghoh and Shifat Musyabbahah which had many wazan. This
case could be seen from the errors’ percentages .
The implication of this study was in term of teaching Arabic especially in teaching kitabah
and ilmu shorof II, because both of them were realted each other. By doing the error analysis,
the teacher will able to know the students’ errors in using Isim Musytaq. Therefore, the
teacher is expected to pay attention to the average erros made by the students. Then,
explaining the most difficult of Isim musytaq so the students will have well understanding.
The researcher also expects that the teacher uses the lingual audio media by giving several
tashrifan excercises about Isim Musytaq. As the result, the students are able to memorize and
distinguish one Isim and other Isim. The teacher is also expected to use the various and
unique methods in learning in order to motivate students in the learning process. As a result,
the students will have well understanding.
