Peningkatan hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan alam melalui model problem based learning pada siswa kelas V SD : penelitian tindakan di kelas V SDN Kapuk Muara 03, Jakarta Utara
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA kelas V SDN Kapuk Muara 03, Penjaringan, Jakarta Utara, melalui Model Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart. Penelitian tindakan ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, implementasi tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi tindakan. Subyek penelitian peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Proses pengumpulan data melalui tes hasil belajar dan non tes berupa hasil observasi pelaksanaan model problem based learning, dengan menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, catatan lapangan dan hasil dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar IPA, khususnya tentang wujud benda dengan menggunakan model problem based learning. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rata-rata prosentase siswa pada pra siklus yaitu 57%, meningkat pada siklus I yaitu 63%, dan meningkat lagi pada siklus II mencapai 78,17%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN Kapuk Muara 03 dengan penggunaan model problem based learning pada materi tentang wujud benda. This research is intended to improve the science learning result in grade V SDN Kapuk Muara 03, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, through the Problem Based Learning Model. This is an action research which uses Kemmis and McTaggart Model and was done in two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, action implementation, observation, and action reflection. The research subject is Grade V elementary students. The data gathering process through the learning outcome test and non-test are in the form of observation result from the implementation of problem learning based model, by using the observation sheet of teacher and students, field notes and documentation result. The research result shows that there is some improvement in Science learning result, especially in the matter of things that uses the problem based learning model. This is proven by the average of students’ percentage during pre-cycle which is 57%, and increase during cycle 1 to 63%, and increase some more during cycle 2 to 78.17%. The conclusion of this research is that the science learning outcomes of Grade V students in SDN Kapuk Muara 03 improved by using the problem based learning in the matter of things.
