Banjir darah di Rawagede : peristiwa Rawagede 9 Desember 1947

This essay used historical method which the data was acquired from literature and is served descriptively narative. This essay explained about how civilian massacre at Rawagede, Karawang, West Java on December 9th, 1947 executed by Ducth’s military. The reason that encouraged Dutch to excute this massacre was because Dutch’s army could not find Captain Lukas Kustaryo, a partisan who had been long become dutch’s fugitive was headquartered in Rawagede, they then exceute civilian massacre with full of pique and caused 431 of men and women became the victims of it.
The methodological used in this essay is historical method which is devided into four steps which they are heuristics, critics, interpretation and historiography. The sources used in this essay consists of primary sources which were acquired from archieves and secondary sources which wereacquired from books related to the content of this essay. Result of this essay would explained why and how the massacre against Rawagede civilian was executed by Dutch’s military. It also explained the survivor’s memory of how the situation was during the massacre and the dutch’s point of view to this massacre, because in this massacre Duthc’s military had conducted a war crime, Dutch had broken the rule of Humanity law by executing a massacre against civilian who were not involved in war, and caused the civilian of Rawagede a victim of “Humanity Crime” executed by Duthc’s military.
