Penilaian aksesoris kalung dari sampah tutup botol minuman (crown cork)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penilaian akesoris kalung dari sampah tutup botol minuman (crown cork). Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada bulan Oktober 2016 hingga Januari 2018.
Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimental. Yaitu, peneliti membuat lima produk aksesoris kalung dengan cara eksperimen yang terbuat dari sampah tutup botol minuman (crown cork). Prosedur pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner yang diisi oleh lima orang informan ahli dalam bidang fashion dan aksesoris, dan 30 responden wanita dewasa awal. Tahapan penelitian berupa pengumpulan gambar selama proses pengolahan dan pembuatan aksesoris kalung dari daur ulang sampah tutup botol minuman (crown cork). Setelah melakukan tahapan penelitian, dilakukan penilaian aksesoris kalung dilihat berdasarkan teori produk, teori unsur desain dan prinsip desain.
Hasil penelitian informan ahli berdasarkan teori produk menyatakan bahwa aspek keamanan memiliki nilai tertinggi, dan nilai terendah terdapat pada aspek penampilan. Kemudian, berdasarkan teori desain meliputi unsur desain menyatakan warna pada aksesoris kalung memiliki nilai tertinggi, dan nilai terendah terdapat pada unsur ukuran. Selanjutnya, pada prinsip desain aspek keseimbangan memperoleh nilai tertinggi, dan nilai terendah terdapat pada irama. Kemudian, berdasarkan hasil penilaian terhadap 30 responden diketahui bahwa indikator bentuk memperoleh nilai tertinggi. Dengan demikian, dari hasil penilaian yang telah dilakukan oleh panelis dan 30 responden wanita dewasa awal, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sampah tutup botol gerigi memiliki nilai sebagai bahan baku pembuatan aksesoris kalung.

The purpose of research is to find out the appraisal of necklace accessories from trash bottle cap. This research was located in Technical Faculty State University of Jakarta on October 2016 until January 2018.
This research used Pre-Experimental method. Researcher made five necklace accessories which is made by from trash bottle cap (crown cork). The procedure of collecting data in the form of questionnaires that has been filled by five panelist who expert in fashion and accessories and 30 female respondents. Stage of the research consist of collecting images due to the research, processing and manufacture of necklace accessories products from the trash bottle cap. Afterwards, value of product consist of product theory and design theory.
The result of the assessment of panelists consist based on product theory states that aspect of safety has the highest value, and the lowest value is in the aspect of appearance. Then, based on design theory including design elements states that aspect of the color has the highest value, and the lowest value is in the size aspect. Then, on the design principle, the balance aspect has the highest value, and the lowest value is in the rhythm aspect. So, it can be concluded that trash bottle cap (crown cork) has value as a raw material for making a necklace accessories.
