Karakteristik fiksi ilmiah dalam novel Une fantaise du docteur ox

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan karakteristik fiksi ilmiah dan manifestasinya yang terdapat dalam novel ini. Karakteristik fiksi ilmiah yang terdapat dalam novel ini ditemukan melalui alur, tokoh dan melalui latar.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis struktural karya sastra. Analisis dilakukan dengan memaparkan unsur-unsur intrinsik karya sastra, yaitu alur, tokoh dan latar. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data-data tersebut adalah metode simak-catat. Kemudian, teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu teknik analisis data menurut Miles dan Huberman yang terbagi menjadi 3 tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan atau verifikasi. Tahap reduksi menghasilkan 59 data yang yang mendukung kemunculan karakteristik fiksi ilmiah, yang terbagi dalam 27 data yang mencerminkan karakteristik fiksi ilmiah melalui alur, 25 data karakteristik fiksi ilmiah melalui tokoh, dan 7 data melalui latar Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa di dalam novel Une Fantaisie du Docteur Ox karya Jules Verne terdapat karakteristik fiksi ilmiah berbentuk teknologi, ilmuan dan ekologi. Kata kunci : Karakteristik Fiksi Ilmiah, Strukturalisme, Une Fantaisie du Docteur Ox.

This research intends to gain insight on characteristic of science-fiction from the novel Une Fantaisie Du Docteur Ox by Jules Verne. The catagory of science fiction in this study is focused on the characteristic it self and it’s manifestation in this roman. To obtain that aim, the analyses used are the analyses of plot the story, analysis of character and analysis of setting.
The method used is the descriptive qualitative method with structuralisme approach. Anlysis is accomplished by describing intrinsic, the elements of literary prose (novel) such as plot, characters, and setting. The next step is identifying and interpreting the data of characteristic of science-fiction in the form of phrase found in the novel reffered to the theorie of the catagory of science-fiction, technologie, sciencetist, adventure and ecology. The result of this study showed that in the novel, there are 59 phrases that reflect characteristic of science-fiction. Among 27 data that have been found through the analysis of plot, 25 data found through the analysis of characters and specifically there are 7 data contained in the setting From this whole series of analysis, we are able to found the phenomena that will bring us to the characteristic of science fiction in the novel that revealed which is the technology, adventure, sciencetist and ecology.
