Tinjauan lagu kidung Sawer pada upacara pernikahan adat Sunda

This research is begin on how interested the researcher on sundanese art karawitan that always being sung at the traditional wedding ceremony of sundanese. The Process of sawer in the ceremony is being done after the akad process is done. Aside from leading the ceremony the juru sawer also singing the song. When the researcher is searching for the source from the internet, there is not much people downloading articles about how to sang a song like the juru sawer that researcher saw at the wedding. Therefore, researcher want to research about the kidung song that always sung on the sawer process on sundanese wedding ceremony.
The Research Method used by the researcher is a qualitative descriptive technique with the text study approach. The research takes place at Radio Rakyat Indonesia PRO 4 Medan Merdeka Barat street, Central Jakarta. And the research takes time from May to November 2017. The Object of the reseach is Song of Kidung Sawer on Sundanese Wedding Ceremony. The data is being colleted from literature review, observation, and interview. as for checking the data validity the triangulation technique is used.
The Result are that kidung song that sung by the juru sawer didnt attached to the style, guru lagu, guru wilangan, and watek but still following the pupuh for the lyric, and tembang that used for the song. In the end its up to the juru sawer itself. The ornamentation that used by the singer is also different, depends on how experienced and skillfull the singer.
