This study aims to find out between the blows of Forehand Drive and backhand Drive blows where more effective blows and more points. The research method used is descriptive research method with survey technique, population in this research is all punch Forehand Drive and Backhand Drive at athletes semi general singles singles in National Championship 2017 with sample purposive sampling that is punch Forehand Drive and Backhand Drive in semi final senior son in KEJURNAS The research instrument is using research stamps in the form of table columns with the success and failure of Forehand Drive and Backhand Drive blows. Technique of collecting data with observation techniques so that obtained real data and effectiveness calculated from whether by using Forehand Drive more effective than using Backhand Drive, calculated in the percentage of success and failure. On the attack pattern. The results of the calculation for the overall blow Forehand Drive is 282 times with success as much as 56% and Failure as much as 44%, while the backhand Drive blow amounted to 179 times with a success percentage of 37% and failure of 63%. It was concluded that an effective and efficient punch used in the men's singles semi-finals at the National Championships was a Forehand Drive blow.
