Perkembangan organisasi bela diri tradisional Betawi : Bekasi (1982-2000)

Skripsi ini membahas mengenai Perkembangan Organisasi Bela Diri Tradisional Betawi: BEKSI (1982-2000). Masalah penelitian skripsi ini adalah 1) awal mula munculnya aliran Beksi 2) perkembangan aliran perguruan Beksi sebagai organisasi tradisional 3) perkembangan awal berdirinya organisasi PPS Beksi 1999- 2000.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah . Metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengikuti prosedur dan kaidah- kaidah yang berlaku dalam penelitian sejarah, yang tersusun dalam lima langkah, yaitu: pemilihan topik, heuristik, verifikasi/kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Serta hasilnya akan dituliskan secara deskriptif untuk mengungkapkan proses perubahan dan perkembangan organisasi Beksi dari tahun 1982-2000.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya perubahan yang dilatarbelakangi oleh desakan untuk melestarikan silat Beksi. Dibutuhkan sebuah organisasi yang mumpuni karena organisasi yang menaungi sebelumnya mengalami banyak hambatan hingga terhenti karena kurangnya SDM dan regenerasi. Sehingga banyak perguruan yang terpaksa berhenti seperti maen pukulan Sekojor, Bongkot dan Ki Ontong yang hanya tersisa beberapa orang yang memiliki kemampuan silatnya. Pada tahun 1999 mulai dipikirkan untuk membentuk organisasi yang terstruktur, tujuan lain adalah untuk mewadahi perguruan-perguruan yang beraliran silat Beksi. Untuk mensahkan dan melengkapi berdirinya organisasi PPS Beksi diadakannya Musyawarah Besar (Mubes) dan pada tahun 2000 dibentuk pengurus pusat PPS Beksi dengan koordinator Kolat (Kelompok Latihan). Pada tahun 2010 untuk melegalkan PPS Beksi maka dibentuk Yayasan Perguruan Beksi Indonesia yang berbadan hukum.

This bachelor thesis is about The Development of The Organization of Traditional Martial Art Betawi: BEKSI (1982-2000). The research problem of this bachelor thesis is 1) the beginning of the emergence of the stream of Beksi 2) the development of the stream Beksi as a traditional organization 3) the early development of the organization PPS Beksi 1999-2000 .
The research method used in this research is historical method . The method that will be used in this study follow the procedures and rules that apply in the study of history, arranged in five steps, namely: selection of topics, heuristics, verification/criticism, interpretation, and historiography. As well the result will be written descriptively to reveal the process of change and development of the organization Beksi from the years 1982-2000
The research shows that the changes are motivated by the urge to preserve silat Beksi. It takes an organization that is qualified because the organization that houses the previously experience a lot of obstacles to a standstill due to lack of human resources and regeneration. So a lot of college are forced to stop as maen pukulan Sekojor, Bongkot and Ki Ontong that left only a few people who have the ability mastering that. In 1999 started to think to form a structured organization, another goal is to facilitate and education instructur and fighter in Beksi. To validate and complement the establishment of the organization of PPS Beksi holding Musyawarah Besar (Mubes) and in 2000 formed the central board PPS Beksi with the coordinator of the Kolat acronym Kelompok Latihan (a Group Exercise). In 2010 to legalize the PPS Beksi then formed the Foundation of Yayasan Perguruan Beksi Indonesia with legal entity.
