Perbandingan latihan barbell squat dan leg press machine terhadap hasil flying shoot pada atlet putra bola tangan Universitas Negeri Jakarta

This study aims to determine 1. Effectiveness of barbell squat exercises against flying shoot results in athletes handman handball University of Jakarta. 2. Effectiveness of leg press machine exercise on flying shoot result at athlete hand of handball of Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 3. Comparison of the effectiveness of the Barbell Squat Exercise and the Leg Press Machine exercise on the Flying Shoot results on the athlete's hand of the University of Jakarta's hand. This data was collected at Muscle Academy Gym Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This research started on December 11, 2017 Up to January 9, 2018. The method used in this research is "Pre-test and Post-Test Group Design". By using purposive sampling technique to take 20 samples of athletes from total population of 43 athletes. The sample is divided into two groups of 10 people. Data analysis technique used is statistical technique with t-test. Result of research: 1) result of preliminary test and final test result of flying shoot at group barbell squat exercise known, t-count = 3.33> t-table = 2.262. so it was concluded that there was an increase in the result of flying shoot through the barbell squat training group at the athletes of the hand of the handling of the State University of Jakarta. 2) the results of initial test analysis and the final test of flying shoot results in the leg press machine exercise group is known, t-count = 2.631> t-table = 2.262. so it is concluded that there is an increase in the results of flying shoot through the leg press machine exercise group at the athlete of the hand of the hand of the State University of Jakarta. 3) testing the hypothesis of the two groups by using t test between the result of flying shoot final test in the barbell squat (X2) and the leg press machine (Y2) training group, it is known that t-count = 2.63> t-table = 2,101. This proves that barbell squat exercise is more effective against the result of flying shoot on the athletes of the handman's hand ball State University Jakarta than leg press machine exercise.
