Korelasi Kemampuan Penalaran dan Minat Baca dengan Hasil Belajar Keterampilan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UNS

The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between: (1) reasoning competency and learning achievement of language skill and Indonesian appreciation of literature (2) reading interest and learning achievement of language skill and Indonesian appreciation of literature (3) reasoning competency and language skill and Indonesian appreciation of literature. The population was the student of Elementary School Teacher Education FKIP UNS, and the sample was 48 students taken using randomly technique. The instruments for collecting the data ware reasoning test, angket and documenter. The technique analysis for analyzing the data was the statistical correlational and regression technique.
Based on the result of analysis shows there is a positive and significant correlation between reasoning competency, and reading interest and learning achievement of language skill and Indonesian appreciation of literature either separately or simultaneously.
Among the two independent variables, the most dominant contribution in predicting learning achievement of language skill and Indonesian appreciation of literature is reasoning competency. The contribution of the independent variabales altogether was 33,793%. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Penalaran, minat baca, keterampilan berbahasa dan apresiasi sastra
