Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran Menulis Cerpen Berbasis Pengalaman Dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual

This research used a Research & Development (R & D) design or a research followed by the development of the necessary products. This research was conducted in ten phases. The data sources for this research were Senior High School students, Indonesian Language teachers, lecturers for creative writing and literature experts. The data needed for this research were in the forms of syllabuses, lesson plan and the existing instruments for evaluations.
This research produced an model for short story writing based on a contextual-experiential approach as realized in the forms of syntacmatic. These components (syntacmatic) was a set of scenarios for writing short stories. There were seven such scenarios: (1) a perception, (2) directions for recalling past events, (3) directions for selecting specific events, (4) guidance for ordering the events, (5) guidance for sequencing some fictive events, (6) guidance for composing a short story and (7) guidance for revising and finalizing a short story. These seven scenarios or steps were implemented in various ways using a six-principle contextual approach. These six principles were modeling, inquiries, asking questions, constructions, reflections and valuation on outcomes. Keywords: model, short stories, experiences, contextual approach
